I parked my classic car in the garage!

Hey everyone I finally got my garage organized a little. Well, I stacked everything against the walls. This left me with a big open space in the middle, either for playing hacky sack or parking a car. Since Kate isn’t real big on hacky sack I chose the car. So today I officially announce:

I parked my classic car in the garage!

Yep, I’ve achieved what appears to be an uncommon thing in my neighborhood (go ahead drive around on a warm day and see all the stuff parked in most garages, not cars.).

  1. Congratulations!
Do you have the tennis ball hanging on a string so the driver knows to stop the car when the windshield touches the ball?
    Dad

    1. No, I don’t have the tennis ball. You see we don’t have an automatic garage door opener (or even a key to the garage door) so someone has to run in through the house and open the door manually. Usually Kate runs in and stands in the drive way and tells me when to stop.

  2. Yes, I had to hang the ball, if I wanted to walk around our car in the garage. One member of our family seems to lack depth perception and would always make it impossible to get to the tools under the work bench. . Hmmmm. Should that person be driving?
